Silbersalz Festival of Science and Media is an international festival and conference, making science accessible in a clear and vivid fashion while simultaneously serving as a platform for the exchange of ideas and mutual inspiration
Crossover curates the interactive and outdoor installation programmes at Silbersalz Festival of Science and Media. The festival is the first international science film festival of its kind and takes place in Halle, Germany.
The aim of the festival is to provide the general public with access to scientific topics and to allow them to ask questions, thereby promoting a lively and active engagement with science in general.
The interactive and immersive programme is housed in Kunstmuseum Moritzburg, a 15th Century castle in the city center, and features a variety of virtual reality and interactive experiences.
There are also satellite installations around the city in other festival locations such as at the main festival center, the tiger enclosure of the zoo and at the city park where we installed Luke Jerram's Museum of the Moon in 2019.
